About The Charity
Bramble Ward Children's Unit at RD&E Hospital in Exeter is a much-loved, high-performing acute care facility used not only by local families but also the wider Devon community.
The unit’s healthcare costs are met by central Government but the additional charitable donations we receive make a huge difference to the experience children and their parents have while they are here.
We are currently redesigning the Paediatric Outpatient Department to create a calm and welcoming environment for our patients and their families whilst attending their consultant-led appointment.
We are looking to start a redesign beginning with the play area and hopefully, funds permitting, we will be able to look at other areas in the department.
Q: What do you call a big white bear with a hole in his middle?
A: A polo bear.
